At Russell Design Group we understand the importance of
listening to our clients and working with them to design the perfect home for
their lifestyle and building site. The
custom design process allows us to work closely with each of our clients and
develop unique solutions that can only be discovered through active listening;
a true hands-on approach.
The design process begins with an initial meeting where your
designer will answer any questions you may have and will begin to compile your
thoughts and ideas. We encourage our
clients to bring photos, magazines, books, or any other examples of inspiration
for their new dream home. Continuing
with the preliminary drawings, the designer will work with you to fine tune
your design before completing the final construction drawings.
From our first conversation to the final construction
drawings, we strive to serve you and create an enjoyable stress-free
experience. Below you will find more
information regarding the custom design process. Call us today and let our innovative
designers work with you to create your custom dream home.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
The first phase of the design process is
the initial design meeting. There is some specific
information we will need at this meeting. Please follow
the link below for a detailed list:
The second phase of the design process
is to develop the preliminary design. We will produce
preliminary drawings including floor plans and elevations.
You will then review the drawings and we will make any revisions you would like. Once you are
completely satisfied with the preliminary drawings and approve them we will
proceed to the third phase.
The third phase of the
design process is the completion of the project. We will
complete the final working drawings including floor plans,
elevations, foundation plans, building sections, roof plans and all
relevant detail drawings.
